Mission Statement

    To advance chondrichthyan science through collaborative research and outreach education. 

2023-24 Goals

We are seeking funding to immediately set forth our goals on staff support, chondrichthyan scientific advancement, education outreach and colleague networking. Some of our largest goals include: 

• Funding for 2 part-time staff members

• Creating a ‘Shark Museum’ for proper storage and outreach of our rare specimens

• In-person & virtual classrooms visits (seeking funding to target migrant students)

• Official Announcement of RSL at Shark Con (July 15-16 in Tampa, FL)

• Colleague networking- Indo-Pacific Shark Conference in New Zealand and Taiwan (November)
